top ten songs of the year so far - kollywood

The year , almost a three fourth done , its really a pity that the quality of songs have dropped drastically , that only 4 or 5 films qualify for some decent music . Techno stuff have probably made music redundant to listen. The purity of sangathis stand facing a big question mark . Except for some standard music directors , others continue to disappoint. The plus points as far as the year until september is concerned :

a . Rahman back with a bang ! some good scope provides him the required breakthrough from a jinx taunting him for some 4 years or so.

b . Harris Jeyaraj , now a household name amongst tamilians , hits three successfull albums, 2 of which topped the charts as and when they were released. Though he has a peculiar and quite observable similarity in his
compositions , the tunes and sense of beat are just amazing to make them hits. Way to go, considering that in today's age songs r more of a pre-hype to the release of a movie.

c . Yuvan Shankar Raja - king of the trade , knows all the nuances of a success , (though not authorised ones) like redoing his father's legendary works and those from other legends before and after his father.
